idealORDER works with busy professionals to develop organizing strategies to make a positive impact on their lives at work and at home.
Who We Are
idealORDER is a woman-owned Austin-based Professional Organizer company that serves the business and residential market primarily in central Texas and southern Louisiana. We offer a full range of organizing services, from needs assessments, consulting, and hands-on sessions working alongside the client. Our solutions are customized to our clients’ needs and organizing goals. Our specialties include workshops and seminars on organizing topics, and working one-on-one with professionals in transition.
Our approach focuses on understanding your needs, making sure you understand your options in the organizing process, and most importantly, transferring to you the learned skill of organizing and maintaining an organized state after we’ve left. We’re convinced organization can change your life and are passionate about the benefits of living in an organized state.

We take our client relationships seriously, knowing that the best customer is one whose expectations have been met and who’s been successful in getting organized with our help. We strive to put you at ease with the anticipated process by answering your frequently asked questions.
Organizing-Related Resources
We’ve joined in partnership with multiple vendors who provide products and services that are tried and true. We know through working with a variety of organizing clients what products work well in certain situations and we reject those that don’t stand the test of usability, convenience, and quality design.
We’re constantly on the lookout for innovative and high-quality products that better serve our clients in helping them get organized. In that spirit, idealORDER has added pull-out shelves to our organizing toolbox, allowing clients to make every inch of their valuable storage space count by installing pull-out shelves in existing cabinets. Our clients rave about how easy it is to remain organized now that they can conveniently access and replace items that have been categorized, sorted, labeled, and stored.
We’ve amassed an extensive list of local special services – donation organizations, consignment companies, local moving services, junk-hauling vendors, and shredding companies just to name a few.
idealORDER's CEO -- Chief Executive Organizer
Jean Kidd, owner of idealORDER Organizing Solutions, serves as idealORDER's CEO - Chief Executive Organizer. She will be your first point of contact and, in most cases, the person who works with you to design and carry out customized solutions to your organizing goals.
Her organizing experience has been focused within government, small business and nonprofit settings, but expanded to include residential in 2004 when the company name was changed to idealORDER Organizing Solutions. She brings to the organizing field more than 20 years of experience and skills developed as a nonprofit manager, small business owner, facilitator, consultant, trainer/presenter, meeting planner, and program developer.
Ms. Kidd invests in her profession as a member of the National Organization of Professional Organizers (NAPO). Since 2005 she has served on the Board of Directors of the Austin Chapter of NAPO, and is currently the Chapter's President. She is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and holds a masters degree in Human Development from the University of Texas at Dallas.
