Code of Ethics: The Professional Organizers at idealORDER subscribe to the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), which provides guidelines for professional conduct with clients, colleagues, and the community for its members. Confidentiality: We vow never to share a client’s situation, environment, organization challenges or business or personal information without consent. If we suggest that anonymous photos of clients’ success stories are particularly illustrative of organizing solutions, we will obtain written permission before sharing with the public. Hourly Minimum: Due to the nature of the organizing process, a three-hour minimum of services is required unless as specified in service packages. Confirmation of Services: After an initial complimentary phone consultation and if the services of idealORDER appear to be a good match for the client’s needs, a service package will be suggested. If mutually agreed upon, the client will receive written confirmation stating the service agreement, fee and date/time/location of services. Cancellations: A 48-hour cancellation notification for services within the Central Texas area (60-mile radius of zip code 78759) is required or the client will be assessed a fee equal to one hour’s rate. Cancellations outside of the Central Texas area require a 72-hour notice without penalty. idealORDER will make every reasonable effort to accommodate a client’s need to reschedule. Services Payment: Unless expressly agreed upon in writing prior to the delivery of services, payment in the form of cash or check is due at the end of the organizing session or speaking engagement. Travel Expenses: Services delivered by idealORDER within a 30-mile radius of zip code 78759 are exempt from travel expenses. Beyond that range, mileage is assessed at the current federal government mileage reimbursement rate. Airfare, lodging, meals and incidental travel costs will be reimbursed at the actual rate of expenses. idealORDER provides services within the USA and internationally. Products: In many instances, the Professional Organizers of idealORDER will suggest additional products to assist the client in obtaining organizing solutions. In such cases, the client can purchase items him/herself or engage idealORDER to purchase them. If additional time is required by the Professional Organizer for acquiring materials such as furniture, accessories, equipment, etc. an additional fee of ½ the service rate per hour is assessed and reimbursement of item cost to idealORDER will be due at the end of the session. Referrals: idealORDER is committed to helping people find solutions to their organizing challenges. If after an initial consultation it appears that the client requires assistance outside the scope of idealORDER services, we will provide a referral that appears to best meet the client’s needs.
